 TIERED INCENTIVE PROGRAM (TIP)

WKRBC has tabulated donor milestones for TIP since February 2004. Donors are awarded points per donation; 5 points for a whole blood donation, 10 points for a platelet pheresis donation.

Rewards are granted in 40 point intervals as follows:

  • 40 Points WKRBC Hat
  • 80 Points WKRBC Beach Towel
  • 120 Points WKRBC Stadium Blanket
  • 160 Points WKRBC Chambray Shirt
  • 200 Points WKRBC Short Sleeve Polo
  • 240 Points WKRBC Long Sleeve Polo
  • 280 Points WKRBC Fleece Sweatshirt
  • 320 Points WKRBC Wind Breaker
  • 360 Points WKRBC Terry Cloth Robe
  • 400 Points WKRBC Hooded Coat

Donors will continue to be awarded 10 Gallon Plaques and Century Donor Watches. Donors are responsible for checking their own eligibility and filling out order forms. Each item is embroidered with the WKRBC name and logo.

Orders are placed on a monthly basis. Contact either the Owensboro or Hopkinsville office for more information.

 High School Heroes

WKRBC is pleased to announce the 2009 High School Hero Award Recipients. Each year hundreds of high school students roll up their sleeves and donate blood for the first time. WKRBC would like to recognize the following students for donating blood four times before graduation.
