Donate Whole Blood
Every 2 seconds an American receives a blood transfusion.  Help ensure this precious resource is available for ill and injured people in our community by donating blood at the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center.

Donate Platelets

Consult with a staff phlebotomist regarding requirements for this unique donation. Platelet apheresis provides 8-10 times the platelet yield of a whole blood donation.

Organize a Blood drive
Contact Vicki Ellis or Robbin Wise to schedule and plan your group or organizations next community service project. . . a Blood Drive!

Join the National Marrow Donor Registry                                           WKRBC has scheduled an Bone Marrow Registry/Blood Drive with the James Graham Brown Cancer Center on Saturday, November 5th, 2005  From 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  at our Owensboro site.

High School Partnership Program
The High School Partnership Program is an innovative public-private partnership between high schools, civic groups, and Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center.  Its primary purpose is to provide recognition for high school blood donors and to nurture within young people a lifetime commitment to blood donation.

Holiday Hero Program
Please! Take time to donate blood during the holidays. Be a Holiday Hero.
A Holiday Hero is designated to donate blood on specific holiday weekends.
